Opportunity Description 

Lytica’s team is growing, and we are looking for data analysts to join our Technology and Quality organizations. We are looking for self driven and high-energy individuals with a good analytical mind and passion for problem solving. To fill in this role, you would have an ability to uncover insights and establish quality metrics, define data requirements, and collect data from multiple sources, create and maintain quality dashboards and communicate your findings to various stakeholders within our organization. Furthermore, you can use statistical process control to detect abnormal behaviours. As a data analyst, you will be working individually and with our expanding Technology and Quality teams. The data analysts are also expected to play a key role in analyzing successes/failures and providing ongoing feedback on data collection and processing activities. Their success will have a significant impact on the growth of our business through improved data and process qualities.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Collect, analyze, and report on data to meet business needs
  • Apply best fit Statistic modeling to data.
  • Query database to extract data.
  • Track database coverage, status, and progression.
  • Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
  • Perform tests, calculations, analysis of data.
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques.
  • Identify trends, exceptions, and areas for further investigation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot data errors.
  • Automate calculations/analysis for repeatable tasks.
  • Maintain data integrity.

You are an ideal fit for this role if:

  • 2-5 years experience analyzing data.
  • Experience in Statistical Modeling of data and SPC.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Microsoft suite of products.
  • Solid knowledge of Statistical and Machine Learning Models.
  • Working knowledge of statistical process control an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Works well independently and with a team.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
